Child Care Grants

Small grants of up to $300 are available to assist meeting attendees who are bringing small children or who incur extra expenses in leaving them at home (i.e., extra daycare or babysitting services).

Please complete the Application for Child Care Grant and fax it to (301) 209-0865, Attention: Sue Otwell. Applications must be received by January 15, 2009.  A subcommittee of the Committee on the Status of Women in Physics (CSWP) will review the applications. In the event that the number of requests for grants exceeds the funding available, preference will be given to applicants in the early stages of their careers.

The Pittsburgh Convention and Visitors Bureau provide the list as a courtesy and they, too, take no responsibility as to the reliability of these child care services.
