Meeting Endorsement Request

APS endorsement of a conference does not entail any financial or legal obligation on the part of APS. The purpose of endorsement is to assist conferences relevant to the advancement and diffusion of the knowledge of physics with publicity in both the printed and web version of the APS Meeting Calendar. Considerations for endorsement include: appropriateness of the conference content, and that the conference dates not conflict with any existing APS unit meeting of like interest. Requests for endorsement received in the APS Meetings Department will be forwarded to the appropriate APS unit related to the field that the conference is covering. Once an APS unit has approved the conference for endorsement, the request is submitted to the APS Executive Board for final approval at the next meeting of the Board. Following approval by the Board, the meeting will be posted to the Calendar of Meetings on the web, and printed in the next issue of the Calendar of Meetings distributed with the monthly issue of APS News.

If you are interested in obtaining an endorsement of your meeting please complete the Meeting Endorsement Request Form and fax it to the address on the form.
